PAR 72 | 5 982 m
“The Golf Sainte Baume is situated in Nans-les-Pins, in the Var department of France, in an unspoilt setting right in the heart of green Provence and the regional nature park. This 18-hole, 5982m, Par 72 course is renowned for the exceptional quality of its botanical heritage and covers 50 hectares. It’s a gently undulating course with tee boxes overhanging the fairways and elevated greens that give players a hard time thanks to the water hazards that surround them. The good golfer will have to apply himself to the short game in order to make his par, while the average player will lose less time on his ball engagements at the start. It really is suitable for all levels of play. Golf Sainte Baume doesn’t necessarily have a signature hole, but we do have a typical hole, number 8, a Par 3 of 170 metres, which is a bit of a favourite with all players. It’s surrounded by magnificent Provençal restanques. It’s completely natural, we’re really in the spirit of Pagnol. There’s a lot of garrigue, and you can really see Provence here, with rosemary, lavender, pine trees and green oaks.”
