Servanes - 18-hole golf course in Mouries
Length 6,049 m | Par 72 | 18 holes | Index < 54
Architects Thierry Sprecher and Gery Watine made the most of this picture postcard-worthy scenery to create a course that is varied both in terms of its landscapes and its holes. The Golf de Servanes curls around the rocky white obstacle that is the Alpilles. It contrasts with the blue sky and lush olive groves. The course subtly balances undulating and flat holes, requiring a certain precision of golfers in terms of their drivers and irons.
The golf course starts at the foot of the Alpilles, continues with two American-style holes featuring large island greens, and finishes surrounded by maritime pines. The sweet song of cicadas fills the air to the delight of golfers of all abilities! Thanks to the region’s mild temperatures, the course can be played most of the year.
