Completed in 1532, the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Basilica in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume is the largest religious building in Provence. It has been a listed historic monument since 1840. Step inside the basilica to discover its wonderfully preserved period gothic style. It is open every day. Before visiting, check the worship times as you cannot visit when services are in progress.
